Premium Herbs – Sage Leaves

Sage has the longest history of use of any herbal medicine.

Often used in cooking, Sage is also very popular in herbal medicine which the Chinese have valued for many years. It is an excellent digestive herb and has a long history of treating sore throats, gingivitis and sore gums due to its antibacterial and astringent properties. It is also said to help relieve menopausal symptoms.

Cut sage should be kept in the dark and closed containers. Due to the high contents of essential oils, we do not recommend storage in plastic containers.

WARNING: Sage should not be used by pregnant or nursing women or by people who have epileptic fits.
