This speciality tea is only picked for a short period between the end of March and mid April. Cultivated at high altitudes ranging between 1,800 and 2,100 metres surrounded by natural woodland and a cool climate, yields a large, finely worked, tobacco-like leaf with many golden tips. A copper-coloured cup and a strong, spicy, malty flavour combined with the typically soft earthy Yunnan character.
