Premium Yellow Tea

Yellow Tea

Yellow tea is processed in a very similar way to green tea, but has a slower drying phase in which the leaves are left to gradually yellow. This process is called ‘Sealed Yellowing’, whereby the tea polyphenols (catechins) are first oxidized to attain the yellow tinge and then further treated to preserve the colour and aroma of the dried leaves. According to a study this tea is good for liver health, boosting metabolism and burning fat quickly, this is due to the polyphenol and catechins present in this type of tea.
